Where should I go to check a prospective tenant’s credit report? I already have their authorization and all their info, I just need a secure recommended site to do it? Anyone know one where I can get accurate info online right away? What do the realtors use to check credit?
Try intelius.com. For $50, you can get a detailed background check. Trust me, it’s well worth the money spent! By the way, you do NOT need the prospective renter’s authorization to do a background check. All you have to do is state that you’ll be doing one as part of the application process.
When I worked as a skip tracer, we had a business account with them to track people down. The only ones we couldn’t locate were the people who moved out of the States.
