why are my DOB in company searches different on my credit report?
my date of birth is different on some of the searches made by some companies on my credit report…(uk).. companies i don’t recognise are on it too… i didn’t apply for credit…with these cmpanies…. has my identity been stolen????
That definitely could be a sign of ID theft. Take it up and dispute it with the reporting agencies in your country. You may also want to put a freeze/fraud alert on your file with those agencies as well. This will stop anyone from taking credit out using your information.
