so,
i was offered this job at a bank, and they needed to do a credit check before they actually take me in.
the credit report they’ve got says i am a defaulter and have many fraud cases.
honestly, i dont remember any fraud related transactions that i have made in my life. and there are no late payments, no defaults, etc,,, everything i have ever done was legitimate, and nothing wrong.
the bank has now withdrawn the offer saying they cant take a fraudster in to a bank.
now, is there something i can do here, apart from killing myself?
the credit agency says it might take upto 2months to get this thing sorted, the bank gave me 4working days to sort my credit report.
what can i do?
Looks like your identity may have been stolen. Get a copy of your credit report and start there. If so , file the appropiate paperwork with the police, credit buraus etc. You need to be your own private detective here, call the places that are claiming fraud, get copies of any paperwork, addresses etc.
There’s a lot of identiy theft going on- just go out and prove you are a victim- you can do it!
