Free Credit Report Question?
So I checked my credit report through annualcreditreport.com (the free credit report that almost everyone is entitled to), and I chose Transunion. Does that mean that I am automatically a member of transunion? After the 30 days of trial, will they charge me for anything, even though I didn’t provide any payment information?
Also, when I logged into their account, in the Change Checker section, it says, it’s 60% complete, and that I have a delinquent account, even though I know that I have none. Is that just advertising for me to order additional products from them?
No, with annualcreditreport.com you do not have to call to cancel anything. They keep track of when you last checked your credit report and as long as you don’t do it within a year you will not be charged. If you want to do it before your year is up you will have to pay. Also, with annualcreditreport you can see all 3 major credit bureaus reports on you. You don’t have to choose just one.
