Want to place credit freeze on my credit report and credit?
I want to place a credit freeze on my credit report and credit. What i want to know is what do I have to do. I read you can call all three credit reporting companies and do it through phone, but what personal information will i need to have in handy. Can you do it by phone or is it just by mail?
Call them first, and they will tell you if they need it in writing or not. They will probably only need name, address, and SSN.
