How long does it take for a medical collection to show up on your credit report if in a lawsuit with them?
I am starting a lawsuit with an ambulance service in Iowa and am looking to buy a house. The home buying started before the notice that there was even a collection issue. My question is, how long does it take for a medical collection to be posted to a credit report?
hi it depends on the company (medical) mine showed up right away as a bill but all i had to do was write to the lender a letter explaining what happen and it never came up again i was able to buy my house and if you have a good case and a good lawyer it might even help cause you might receive a settlement, good luck
