Looking for a form for credit bureau requests for a credit report.?
I was recently denied credit and I think there is a form to send to the three bureaus requesting a copy of your credit report. Anyone know where I can get one or what it says?
I’m not sure where the form is but if you are looking for a copy of all 3 reports try this….
This information is based upon the Federal Trade Commissions website www.ftc.gov. You can follow the link off the website located on the left hand side if you scroll down under “Hot Topics” you will find “FREE Annual Credit Report”.
This link is the ONLY authorized online source for you to get a free credit report under federal law. You can get a free report from each of the three national credit reporting companies every 12 months. Some other sites claim to offer “free” credit reports, but may charge you for another product if you accept a “free” report. The link is www.annualcreditreport.com
