Student loans on my credit report?
I looked at my credit report just now, and it said I didn’t have anything to report. On a scale of 350-850, it was 9002, probably meaning that I didn’t really have any score, I guess. Here’s the thing, my student loans went into payment this month, and I paid the first one a few weeks ago. Shouldn’t that actually give me a credit score, or does it take a while? It really doesn’t make sense because the last time I checked it, my score was around 700. What gives?
Companies report to the credit agencies once a month, if they report. Everything cycles on the 5th. So it may have not been reported in time to show up yet.
