What’s the deal with equifax’s fake free credit report?
My husband went through equifax for the “free” credit report and had to agree to a 7 day “trial” $14.95/month product. We agreed and planned to cancel. Now that we are trying to cancel – we cannot find a place to cancer nor a live person to speak with. The only thing you can do is buy a product to get to talk to a person. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do? Isn’t this illegal? Thanks..

I have done it…there is a help menu…search for “how to cancel my subscription”..it will show you how to do it. and if you get to it before the 7 day trial ends..they won’t bill you. There is also a customer service # you can call in the contact us section. They can instruct you how.
