free credit report.com cancellation

free credit report.com cancellation
Has anyone else been ripped off by ordering a so called “free” credit report.?

I went on line and printed out what was to have been a “free” credit report. I had to request one in my name and one in my husbands. I had to put in my checking account debit card number, but according to the instructions, if we cancelled within 30 days there would be no charge. The day after I ordered the reports two $14.95 deductions were made from my checking account. Now all I am getting from Credit Report.com is a runaround. My bank says all they can do is put a stop payment on additional withdraws, at a fee of $30 each time. Have any of you ran into this problem? If so do you have any ideas as to how I can stop this. I read and reread the cancellation policy before I ordered these so I didn’t “misunderstand” what I was signing up for. If anyone has had this happen to them, would you please tell me how you managed to resolve this. Thank you.

you apparently went to the wrong website (a scammers site)

there is ONLY one official website that give you free credit reports
its
http://www.annualcreditreport.com
that’s the ONLY site where its will be free
you can dispute the charges on your credit card also
you might be able to find a address for credit report,com
and write them a letter cerifitate mail return receipt demanding they stop
for information on this

and you can also file a complaint with the FTC about this company as we;;

charging you
