How does one get the free credit reports from the three credit agencies, to which we are entitled?
(Experian, Transunion, and Equifax)
The only web site that offers a truly free credit report, via US legislation, is the one listed below. All others are commercial sites that require credit card numbers, cash or some other form of payment. Even though the others are entitled “free”, they often limit their service to you also agreeing to pay for some other form of credit reporting, at a considerable price.
